    What to expect in the position of a Key Account Manager? 

    An Account Manager needs to be a networker, the Account Manager will have to create a partnership with the various stakeholders and users in the decision process. The Account Manager also works very closely with the entire medical team.
    By medical devices we mean implants, consumables, capital goods and diagnostics. You are the linchpin in complex sales processes. You are capable of communicating your passion for the latest and/or most sophisticated medical developments to a multidisciplinary team. In order to do be successful a great knowledge of the product itself but also of the therapeutic area is required.
    The Account Manager develops a market analysis and based on this he/she will write a district plan in which is indicated how the sales targets are expected to be achieved.
    The Account Manager will be in contact with the sales manager on a regular basis.
    It is important to keep in contact with the target group. That is why, in addition to the visits, the Account Manager will also have to organize trainings, presentations and workshops.
    All findings will be reported in a management system in order for colleagues and line managers to stay informed with all activities.

    What are the job requirements for a Key Account Manager?

    • Work experience within and affinity with the pharmaceutical market is a must.
    • Several years of work experience within a similar position
