London
Phase I Clinical Trial Facility
Quintiles’ Phase I facility in London has been running Phase I/IIa trials for more than 25 years. Located in the heart of the city, Quintiles Drug Research Unit is spread over two sites: in Guy’s Hospital Tower and at Newcomen Street, inside Guy’s campus. Here, we have conducted first-in-human studies with hundreds of new molecules with an unsurpassed safety record.
Our unit has specialized facilities for:
- Respiratory studies
- EEG studies
- Sleep studies
- Viral challenge studies
- Human radio-labeled ADME studies
We have established close collaborations with university research groups. The most recent, a formal partnership with King’s College London and Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, will focus on translational medicine. A dedicated team of clinical physiologists are continuously developing new biomarkers and techniques for Phase I/Phase IIa studies.
