Adina Knight is Senior Medical Director in the Allergy and Respiratory unit of QuintilesIMS, where she serves as medical and scientific advisor, providing strategic guidance for regional and global projects. Adina joined QuintilesIMS in 2015 bringing with her 10 years experience in respiratory clinical research and 12 years experience in clinical practice. She is also a Medical Consultant for the Immune Deficiency Foundation.
Before joining QuintilesIMS, Adina worked as a physician allergist at the Alabama Allergy and Asthma Center where she was responsible for allergy and immunology patient care as well as acting as an investigator and sub-investigator on clinical trials. Prior to that she was an assistant professor of pediatrics and allergy & immunology at the LSU Health Sciences Center Children's hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Adina obtained her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She completed her Allergy and Immunology fellowship at the Mount Sinai Hospital and is Board certified in Allergy and Immunology by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology (2006). She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and was Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2002.
