Annette Williams, R.Ph, is Vice President, Pharmacovigilance, Lifecycle Safety at QuintilesIMS. In this role, she leads the Pharmacovigilance Services (PV) unit, which includes comprehensive global Safety Operations (case processing and regulatory reporting) and Project Management. In addition, Williams provides executive leadership and strategic decision-making for the Lifecycle Safety business unit as a member of the company’s Lifecycle Safety Governance Committee.
Williams has deep expertise in both clinical and commercial divisions of the pharmaceutical sector, including extensive Safety leadership. Prior to joining QuintilesIMS in 2011, she held various industry leadership positions at Drug Safety Alliance, Inc., Teamm Pharmaceuticals, DAW Communications and Glaxo Smith Kline.
Williams holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island and a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Southern New Hampshire. She is a Registered Pharmacist in the State of New Hampshire. Williams currently serves on the Program Committee for the DIA Annual Meeting as well as Medical Product Safety Advisory Committee for Durham Technical Community College.
