Gina Calarco is an Associate Director and the Deputy Head of the Pediatric Center of Excellence (PCoE) at Quintiles. Ms. Calarco is an affiliate member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Advances in Therapeutics and Technology. She maintains a certification from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals as a clinical research coordinator. Her main area of focus and interest throughout her career has been pediatric research. Ms. Calarco has developed a wealth of knowledge related to pediatric research from hands on experience conducting her own research, assisting with academic, sponsor driven and NIH sponsored research as a clinical research coordinator at a pediatric hospital, managing US and global pediatric projects as a Clinical Project Manager, and currently working within the PCoE offering internal and external operational support for pediatric clinical trials.
Ms Calarco completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at Saint Luke’s College and went on to complete a Masters in Public Health from the University of Kansas.
