Ingrid brings a range of skills and customer-focused perspectives, having worked in various roles within the pharmaceutical industry, sports & leisure industry, and in education for more than 25 years. Ingrid joined Quintiles Commercial Pathways team in 2014, bringing a extensive experience in Service Re-design. Working closely with healthcare professionals in the field, Ingrid uses LEAN 6 Sigma™ problem solving approach with PRINCE 2TM project management methodology, facilitation and change management skills to help customers to achieve project outcomes. Her background experience of ISO 9001 Quality Standards audits brings and added discipline of applying a structured, fully documented and robust approach to projects.
Often working as a member of the local healthcare team under an Honorary Contract, Ingrid has been instrumental in conducting numerous complex re-design projects including an Early Inflammatory Arthritis one-stop clinic, capacity and quality projects involving patient interviews and time and motion studies of clinicians as part of a change program for a renal oncology service, redesigning a lung cancer care pathway, and addressing unmet data and reporting requirements at a major tertiary treatment center
Previous experience includes large-scale disease management services and software vendor management. Within clinical trials, Ingrid has managed large data teams and supported clinical trials across a range of therapy areas including inflammation, oncology, haematology, cardiovascular disease, heart failure, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, COPD, neuropathic pain, epilepsy, schizophrenia, overactive bladder, osteoarthritis, multiple sclerosis, management of the frail elderly. Risk assessment and management has been a consistent component across all of her pharmaceutical and leisure industry roles, involving the development of normal operating procedures and emergency actions plans. Risk mitigation forms an integral part of all customer projects.
