Dr. Kenne Mountford is an Epidemiologist with over 10 years of experience in the public health and clinical research fields. Currently, Dr. Mountford is Director of Epidemiology within the Values & Outcomes group at Quintiles. He also serves as a part-time faculty within the clinical research program at University of North Carolina, Wilmington. His experience in biostatistics and epidemiology span various phases of the drug development life cycle, including natural history and disease burden studies, through post approval safety studies.
Furthermore, his expertise in observational research includes the design of studies utilizing both retrospective and prospective data sources. Dr. Mountford earned his PhD in Epidemiology and MS in Biostatistics from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. While at the Medical University of South Carolina, he worked with the South Carolina inpatient hospital discharge database evaluating trends and disparities related to diabetes.
Dr. Mountford has published his research in various peer-reviewed journals in the clinical and public health arena, as well as presented at numerous scientific conferences.
