Horowicz-Mehler has ten years of pharmacoeconomic research and healthcare strategic consulting experience. She is a chronic disease epidemiologist by training whose areas of predilection are medication adherence and persistence, correlates of treatment satisfaction, responder prediction research, as well as comparative effectiveness research. Horowicz-Mehler earned her BS in Behavioral Neurosciences with a concentration in Pharmacology from Louis Pasteur University, France. She also holds an MS in Pain Management, Education and Policy from Tufts University School of Medicine, and is currently in the dissertation phase of her Ph.D. (M.Phil.) in Cancer Epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University.
