Nicole Korak, Senior Director, leads the clinical oncology nurse educator program for Quintiles Commercial North America.
With 25 years of oncology nursing experience, Nicole is responsible for the strategy and oversight of seven U.S.-based oncology nurse education programs on behalf of customers. The programs she and her teams provide to healthcare providers help patients better administer specific medications and treatment plans, which lead to higher quality care and positive patient outcomes.
Prior to joining Quintiles in 2007, Nicole held various positions in hospitals and outpatient clinics, including the Breast Cancer Nurse Navigator position in Dallas, Texas, for Parkland Health and Hospital Systems. She has experience presenting a wide variety of oncology topics to providers as well as patients to increase understanding of different medications and the best practices to manage side effects. She has collaborated with her colleagues on two book chapters in the second edition of Telephone Triage for Oncology Nurses and a revised breast cancer chapter for the Oncology Nursing Advisor, second addition. In addition, Nicole also authored a new chapter on neuroendocrine tumors for the Oncology Nursing Advisor.
Nicole holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Baylor University, and a master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner from Georgetown University.
