Dr. Penny Randall has more than 20 years of CNS clinical drug development experience. Since joining Quintiles in 2003, Dr. Randall has provided medical and scientific leadership on numerous development programs, many of which resulted in successful CNS drug approvals.
Dr. Randall has a background in academic medicine; she held faculty positions at Yale University and the University of California, Irvine. She also worked for a large health plan, Optum, where she focused on implementing quality initiatives to improve health outcomes of the membership.
Board certified in psychiatry and addiction medicine, Dr. Randall completed her psychiatry residency at Georgetown University School of Medicine and a research fellowship in psychopharmacology at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Randall received her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine.
Dr. Randall has a graduate business degree from the Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine, concentrating on health-care management.
