Dr. Ray Gani is HEOR Director within Values & Outcomes in Quintiles Advisory Services, and responsible for designing and leading health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) studies for the life sciences industry across a range of both primary and secondary retrospective and prospective data sources and study designs within the team. He serves as a senior member of the research team with responsibility for business development, client relations, project design and direction, and staff mentorship.
Ray is a health economist with more than 15 years’ experience, gained working within pharmaceutical companies, consultancy, and the public sector. He has led numerous research projects covering a wide range of therapy areas across product lifecycles, also covering market access, medical, marketing and market research activities, as well as HEOR.
Prior to joining Quintiles, Ray was the HEOR Director at Astellas Pharma Europe. Previously, Ray was Health Economics Team Leader for UK and Ireland at Boehringer Ingelheim. Ray has also held the roles of Technical Lead for Economic Evaluation at Heron Evidence Development (now part of Parexel), and Head of Quantitative Risk Assessment at the Health Protection Agency. Ray holds a PhD from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, an MSc from University College London, and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Leicester.
