Dr. Stephanie Tan is Associate Director with the Quintiles Asia Site and Patient Network, based in Singapore. In her role, Dr. Tan focuses on engagement of key opinion leaders (KOLs) for greater connectivity of academia insights. Prior to Quintiles, Dr. Tan practiced as a physician in Melbourne, Australia. Her clinical experience spans across a variety of specialty including medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine. She also worked as an investigator for numerous Phase II to IV pharma-sponsored clinical trials, directly involved with all stages of clinical trial set-up and operations.
Dr Tan is the editor, author, and primary coordinator for ‘IIT Made Easy’, an introductory guide to Investigator Initiated Trials, which she conceptualized in July 2014.
Dr. Tan graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2003. She is currently enrolled as a candidate of Masters of Medicine (by research) at The University of Melbourne. Her research project is the first epidemiological study in Australia to investigate the role of occupational sunlight exposure in the development of non-melanoma skin cancer in men.
