Dr. Vladimir Misik is vice president of Site Management, leading Quintiles’ Clinical Development services in the Middle East. Vladimir joined Quintiles in 1998 as Business Development Director Central & Eastern Europe (CEE).
Recognizing business opportunities in the emerging Middle East region in 2006, Vladimir spearheaded the expansion of Quintiles clinical operations in the Middle East.
Prior to Quintiles, Dr. Misik has spent 27 years in biopharmaceutical research and development, including 14 years of research in cardiovascular pharmacology and cancer therapy at the U.S. National Cancer Institute, the George Washington University Medical School in Washington, D.C., and Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava.
Dr. Misik holds a Ph.D. in biophysical pharmacology, and an MS in biophysics and solid state physics. He has authored more than 60 research articles and book chapters in peer-reviewed journals.
