Patty James, B.S., MT (ASCP)

Patty James is an experienced relationship manager responsible for coordinating clinical trial logistics and operations for biomarker projects in oncology. She works closely with clinical trial monitors, licensing managers and clinical study managers to identify the work plan for global late stage trials and provides on-site, interactive training at investigator meetings. Ms. James is engaged in identifying and implementing first-in-class tissue management practices for Quintiles global laboratories. She also serves as the senior product manager for Quintiles digital pathology services and has worked with several pharmaceutical organizations to map out their workflow needs to take advantage of digital pathology technologies. Prior to Quintiles, Ms James was at TMD where she created and managed a program that provided educational support for pharmaceutical field personnel, oncologists and pathologists to provide advocacy for patients being selected for EGFR targeted therapies. Ms James has set up and managed a clinical laboratory for an outpatient surgery center which also provided testing for their urgent care and physician offices.
