Vladimir Misik, Ph.D.

Vladimir, as Senior Regional Director, Middle East, Clinical Operations, is responsible for the clinical development of the Middle East region which includes Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

Vladimir joined Quintiles in 1998 as Business Development Director Central & Eastern Europe (CEE). Recognizing business opportunities in the emerging Middle East region in 2006 Vladimir spearheaded expansion of Quintiles clinical operations in the Middle East.

He spent 27 years in biopharmaceutical research and development, including 14 years of research in cardiovascular pharmacology and cancer therapy at National Cancer Institute NIH in Bethesda, the George Washington University Medical School, Washington DC, and Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava.

Vladimir holds PhD in biophysics & pharmacology and MS in biophysics and solid state physics and is author of more than 60 research articles and book chapters in peer-reviewed journals.
