Asthma controlled in Poland

This case study reviews a 2007 pilot program using nurse advisors to identify patients with uncontrolled asthma in Poland.

The pilot succeeded on 2 fronts: improving the health of many chronic sufferers by ensuring they are on and take appropriate therapy, and above all proving conclusively that this kind of patient intervention program can be managed even in the more challenging markets.
