Director and Head of Project Management Quintiles ECG Services
Mandar Dasture, M. Pharm, PMP is responsible for supervising project management staff across all Quintiles ECG locations. Dasture also overseas project management activities of clinical trials, from Phase I through Phase IV throughout Quintiles ECG Services worldwide.
Dasture joined Quintiles in 2002, first identifying potential sites for clinical trials in India. He has managed Phase II and III pharmaceutical trials to treat schizophrenia, bipolar and anxiety disorders, chronic pain from multiple sclerosis, irritable bowel syndrome and pediatric attention deficit disorder, among other studies. He determined procedures for installing equipment, acquiring consistent data collection and site training, and troubleshooting with equipment vendors.
Because Dasture’s career began in research and marketing, he understands the importance customers place on having one person oversee projects from beginning to end. Over the years he also has gained experience working directly with customers on projects in the United States, Europe, South Africa, India and Japan. As Director of Quintiles ECG Services, Dasture has extended Quintiles ECG Services to Mumbai and Bangalore.
Dasture has a bachelor's degree in pharmaceutics from the University of Pune in India, a master's degree in pharmaceutics from Birla Institute of Technology, also in India, and is a certified Project Management Professional from Project Management Institute.
