Training for Medical Reps (MRs)
Initial Training
Medical reps we hire for field placement will receive training on topics such as medical knowledge, skills and sales manner.
The objective of initial training is for medical reps to acquire basic understanding of medical science and pharmacy, and to develop skills, including presentation and detailing skills)
Goal: To train medical reps who can think and act on their own in difficult situations.
Training for certification
E-learning is available for self-study related to certification training. The training provided helps medical reps progress their level of knowledge on a regular basis. Using the e-learning tool, medical reps can prepare to pass the certification test on the first try while they are succeeding in the field.
Certification Rate
The averages from the last six time’s testing are higher than the average score of other pharmaceutical companies. 
We’ve conducted internal initial education 65 times and trained approximately 1500 reps. (2000/11-2008/2)
Follow-Up Training
Medical reps must have up-to-date knowledge to gain the trust by doctors and exchange information with other medical persons in the field.
Therefore, each project has requires training. Our Learning and Development team builds customized programs for medical reps containing current information needed to assist the reps activity.
Training Courses
- CPP (Commercial Professional Program)
- Fundamental medical science course - Learn the diseases related to the circulatory system (Hyper-tension, Diabetes-mellitus, Hyperlipidemia, Cardiovascular, Arrhythmia/Heart failure, Metabolic syndrome)
- Advanced medical science course - Common diseases (Infections, Aging, Allergy, CNS, Respiratory, Digestive)
- Medical Science Course Methodology - Each subject contains components that will add values to reps.
- An open class
- “Win-Q” system, which will support the reps through the Internet
- The final exam
Skill Training (SKIP, Open-Seminar)
Different skills training from clients will help improve reps’ sales presence.
First–Second year: Knowledge of basic area management and skills to solve problems.
Open-Seminar: Provides more special knowledge, including theory of Marketing, Medical Management and Medical laws by offering sessions on wider and higher levels.
