Robert Adamski to Director, Clinical Operations, Quintiles Pacific, Inc. Prior to joining Quintiles, Mr. Adamski served as Midwest Clinical Research Manager with the R. W. Johnson Pharmaceutical Research Institute, a Johnson & Johnson Company.

Wayne Davis, Ph.D., to Director, Biostatistics, Quintiles Pacific, Inc. Dr. Davis has held several management positions within Quintiles' North American and European operations. Most recently, he was employed at the company's UK office. He received a Ph.D. in epidemiology and a master's degree in public health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Chris Franks, M.D., to General Manager, Quintiles (UK) Limited. Dr. Franks will have overall responsibility for the company's operations in the UK. Prior to Quintiles, he was Vice President, Medical with EuroCetus in Amsterdam.

Tony Owen to Director European Quality Assurance. Mr. Owen will have overall responsibility for Quality Management in Quintiles' European operations. Previously, he was Manager, Clinical Quality Assurance with Glaxo.

Valerie Palumbo to Quality Assurance Manager, Quintiles Transnational Corp. Ms. Palumbo will work with the Quintiles quality assurance groups worldwide. Previously she was with Family Health International and Becton Dickinson.

Daniel L. Weiner, Ph.D., to Vice President, Statistical Operations, Quintiles, Inc. Prior to joining Quintiles, Dr. Weiner served as Vice President and Director for the Institute for Research Data Management at Syntex Development Research, where he was responsible for data quality assurance, data management, applications programming, and biostatistics.

Alan Wood, Ph.D., to Director of European Business Development. Dr. Wood will have overall responsibility for Quintiles' sales and marketing activities in Europe. Previously, he was with the contract pharmaceutical development company, RCC, and with Sandoz in Basle, where he served as Head of International Clinical Research.
