Joseph X. Phillips has been appointed to the newly created position of vice president, Pharmaceutical Operations. Phillips provides executive leadership and direction to help position Quintiles Consulting as the world leader in pharmaceutical consulting services. In this capacity, Phillips leads a team of specialists with expertise in regulatory matters that can be of significant value to Quintiles' pharmaceutical clients. Phillips has 44 years of service with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and is an expert in regulatory and compliance issues affecting the pharmaceutical industry.
