BRACKNELL, UK. – February 27, 2009– Quintiles and Innovex have been recognized by the Great Places to Work® (GPTW) Institute in the top 100 “Best Companies to Work For” in Ireland, Germany and Italy.
In Ireland the submission was for both Quintiles and Innovex which includes employees from across the drug development spectrum. In Ireland Quintiles and Innovex was outright winner in the category for 250 to 500 employees and was declared as one of the "Top 10" best workplaces in Ireland. For the fifth year in a row, Innovex Germany has been recognized and this year was ranked 18th in the 501-5000 employee category; the only commercial services organization to receive the accolade. In Italy Innovex was successful for the second year in succession and was ranked 22nd.
The GPTWInstitute believes that a great place to work is one where employees trust the people they work for, have pride in what they do, and enjoy the people they work with. Their five dimensions of a great workplace – Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride and Camaraderie are values that Quintiles and Innovex have always tried to embody. The GPTW survey is independent and is based, in part, on anonymous feedback from employees. As such, it provides a valuable insight into employee engagement, a key driver of customer satisfaction.
“Innovex and Quintiles are committed to customer service and delivery and, in order to meet our customer need and expectations, our employees must have a passion for what they do,” explained Justin van Gennep, Senior Vice President and Head of Innovex Europe Middle East and Africa. “Our employees must be participative and flexible and willing to make a difference. I am very proud of our success in the GPTW survey across several countries. Our employees have indicated that we have created a positive and rewarding environment that will help keep them motivated and engaged, with opportunities for career development and progress.”
Each year the Great Places to Work® Institute helps produce annual “Best Place to Work” lists in 30 countries around the world, gathering data from more than 3,000 companies.
